Medirex's software solution accommodates regional healthcare organizations in communicating with numerous community agencies. Some of these facilities may have high-speed connections to your site while others may have limited connectivity. Our software has the ability to handle these environmental differences. One of the developmental guidelines of the Medirex product has been the assumption of narrow bandwidth. Form file sizes generated are small, with the average being 20KB. All modules offer a choice of moving forms to the printer with data or storing it in the printer. In standard Windows NT or 2000 systems, processing time is negligible. Records can be printed, e-mailed, faxed or archived. If printing is required then the record can be secured with a PIN to be entered at the point of delivery to release a print job. E-mail and fax can be configured and automated in the delivery of records. Records requiring archiving are indexed automatically to ensure simple retrieval later on.
